I question why there are so many blades that have been removed. No windmills have been up long enough to need blades replaced would be my thought.
Could be any number of reasons besides replacement due to use.
Could be design flaws rectified
could be blade upgrade (less likely a downgrade) ie longer or or or
the original blade company (and likely the owners) would rather sracp something than have someone else use it for its original purpose.
It might be possible to get cut (listed as destroyed) blades for purposes like wind breaks but if there is a way to recycle the glass fibers reasonably - - - - you'll never get them! |
