Nebraska | Pen or pasture size makes a difference too. Cattle behavior is different in small pens than large areas. However, even in the small pen situation, a bit more reservoir is good insurance for short term power outage, heat wave or whatever. I always figured it was worth it to not be scrambling to haul water because the pipe can't keep up or there's not enough drinker space so they are fighting for it. | |
