lake Michigan shore line/Mason county
Beef type heifers are a bunch different than dairy cows. I have had dairy cows calve that didnt show classic signs. The beef breads almost always give you notice. They spring for quite a while before, but I watch the bag. It will not look full, but look like it is going to burst. Most times they will start dripping milk half a day before. If its a new Mom just keep an eye out for feet. Seen many walk around like nothing is wrong with just the tips of the hooves bulging out. New Mom just doesnt know to lay down and push. Most times just wait a bit. Nature will kick in and things will happen. Al
