The shape files from Op Center suck to import. (but they do work) 

If you're on the Files Manager page on Op center, you can use the custom date range to find your files you want to send. Were they originally brought in via wireless data or USB? If WDT it's easy, check the files/fields you need and download. Send him those and he'd import like they're off the display...no messing with shape files.
