I question that 22% headed number. We drove to Edinburg last week of January. Came back beginning of February. Very little wheat jointed. Nothing even near boot stage let alone headed My guess is there was some scattered damage but overall not a big deal
We drove to just north of Corpus Christi about the same time, I never saw any wheat that was more then just out of dormancy. I agree with you, 22 percent headed would be way ahead, even in Texas.
