Quebec, Canada | The 2000 series Case planters need a pricey module from a Case Dealer, as well as an adapter cable from AgExpress to get all the planter’s data layers into the CANbus where the FV Drive can read them. I’ve heard that there is a new cable being developed that will let FV get the basic data layers (planted population, planter speed, but not the downforce layers). I don’t know when that will be available.
Are you sure about the $1100? The farmers I’ve talked to all got much higher quotes than that for their modules, though maybe that has something to do with being in Canada. The cable you’ll need from AgExpress is CC1053K and costs $270 USD (https://www.agexpress.com/store/c36/additional-items/p2101/case-ih-2000-series-early-riser-planter-adapter-kit/ ).
