Southeast WI | We know our limits most of the time! And we don’t go into avalanche territory. Traceys cousin out in Montana was caught in one skiing the back country in ‘94 and almost died. He’s in his 60’s now and has plenty of residual pain today. They are very serious whether on a sled or sliding. And yes the snow layers don’t bond well this year with the weather they’ve had. You can even see the snow density layer changes here where we’ve had layer upon layer of snow this winter. Usually we melt most of it here before the next snowfall so it’s not to be seen. | |
