NC Iowa | I have switched my ira from an no load equity income stock fund to an income type investments with an financial adviser. I will soon face rmd and did not want to loose principle if the mark drops again. They invest in etfs, preferred and individual bonds. Is supposed to generate enough income to cover rmds and preserve the principal. I think the total yield is around 4%, but a 1% annual management fee. I will reevaluate soon to see i want to continue.
