sullivan il.
this is from my great great grandparents who owned a creamery over 120 years ago it is a frozen custard recipe so you cook it on the stove first
4 eggs
2 cup sugar
1 1/2 quart milk
2 cans carnation
2 tblsp cornstarch
vanilla to taste
cook egg yokes, milk, sugar, cornstarch till it thickens then add beaten egg whites carnation and vanilla dump in mixer finish filling to fill line with milk , if you want to make chocolate add 6 tblsp. cocoa. Now i wrote this from memory but pretty sure its right i am 53 years old and on my 6th ice cream freezer so i have made some ice cream. lol
