The counterargument on Cornpop is that I'll be breeding AI first, if there's any one unifying factor among the cows they'll be breeding it's that they didn't take on the first try or two with AI. 5.4 DPR is higher than all but 1 bull on the active AI list.
I also like to look at percent components over pounds of components, the economics just make more sense to me that way. They're all good, once you're over 0.4 fat and 0.2 protein there aren't a lot of American bulls that can compete. | |
