Pilot Grove, Missouri | My first experience with liberty and grass was several years ago. Field road along the edge of a field was getting some giant ragweed in the fescue grass. Had always heard that Liberty was real weak on grass. I thought that would be perfect, Kill the giant rag and probably just stunt the fescue. It killed the fescue deader than dead. Since then the only grass I have had glufosinate fail to kill has been fall panicum that was pretty good size in some double crop beans. Now this was all done in the heat of summer. Earlier in the spring with cooler cloudy weather, I wouldn't put much faith in it killing much of anything you want it to. It would probably still kill my waterways though. Patrick | |
