Subject: RE: 6% survival rate from widowmaker heart attack

Lake Park Iowa

John, 11 years ago at age 60, I felt led to do a heart screening for $50.   My diet was good, weight was good, blood test were good, felt good, walked 4 miles a day, plus farmed full time, not a reason at all to do the test.

Went and did the test,  got a phone call to come back and do some more test.  After a few more test, the test showed 3 aneurysms on my main aortic artery.  Planting beans at the time.  The results of the tests, the next morning at 6:30 open heart surgery.  I had 3 widow makers, and the picture showed they were large.  Took me a year to recover.  Thankful to my son for taking over at the time.

I am very thankful for the test and surgery.  Thankful to the Lord for each day.
