northeast ohio | No experience with a GFX750/XCN1050, however we just updated our TMX2050 and XCN2050 to 6.6 firmware which I believe is the same level as 2.6 for your display. The displays did require brand specific versions as I first tried using the TMX version in the XCN and received an incompatible file warning. PIQ does update which is why we chose to make the jump in versions. The newest will allow us to move from FMX+ to PIQ for Field IQ seed monitoring. This is a totally new capability for the 1050 display. In doing so we can now AutoSync as well as try a beta version of NextSwath which is said to follow the field boundary when creating turns.
As far as NAV updates, the upgrade display firmware does not update a NAV2/3 if it’s connected. This said, if your NAV900 is unlocked to be the controller then my guess is it updates, but that is a guess.

XCN 1050 firmware upgrade
