I'd have expected to see some along coastal areas where the wind seems to always blow, but maybe risk of hurricane damage has something to do with it.
There are a lot along the Columbia River on Washington and Oregon sides of the river past the Columbia River gorge cut through the Cascade Mountains. The wind about always blows through there plus the hydro electric grid and there were some other power plant setups in the area. |
