NE OK | I'm over in the eastern part of the state. I've used some of the university of arkansas variety of GT beans in the past, 2 years, and saved some seed from them for the next year. I didn't do a true plot either year, so my anecdotal experience is that they are decent beans. I planted some side by side with extends and they were about a bushel less. (I just checked my records, and it was 37.48 on the extends and 36.18 on the 5715GTs) Then the next year I planted some that got smoked pretty hard by dicamba and didn't get the mythical yield bump, so I decided to stop planting them. That year, it was a 7 bushel difference on the end where the GT beans got smoked. I didn't split the tickets and I'm going off memory there, but I did check my yield map vs my planted varieties and it's a pretty stark difference.
