I have a skid steer and endorse that they are handy. Mine is a Cat 236 but the shibatsoperkinscaterpillar engines are super expensive to replace. just got mine back from the shop from an engine failure in the spring of 2019
Don't get a cat. get something with a little Cummins or Kubota in it those are way cheaper engines to replace than the Caterpillar engines.
Don't know if all models are but a Cat 289D3 has a yellow Kubota motor in them (made to Cat specs obviously) so no more perkins motors in that size CAT machine anyways. |
