Subject: RE: When are you guys using it? Row starter, y drop, what’s the timing

NEBRASKA
Humic acid works best in soil where it makes micros more available to roots and improves root structure. I use it in strip with N, in furrow, and with N with pivot irrigation. I have used as much as 5 gallons an acre in some areas that needed it.

Fulvic acid can be foliar applied as it is smaller and will penetrate the leaves to increase photosynthesis and uptake to plant from roots.

Adding Humic late with Y drops will help stabilize the N but will really help improve soil for next season more than current season

Using Humic and Fulvic acid isn’t something you can read a label and use everywhere the same. You need to find out how much your soils are lacking in health with your own trials. It takes time but is worth it. Humic and Fulvic acid is a lifestyle and farming practice, not just something you try once and give up on.
