Plenty of certain rare earths here but GM sold the fledging rare earth industry leader they owned called Magnaquench back in the 80's and China has become world dominate with the technology . Dirty industry over there I understand. Over 100 of our military devices are completely dependent on china rare earths to function and the Dept. of Defense has to ask congress annually for an exemption to obtain. That's why the chinese have our blueprints, in order to make the correct components.
