my opinion is depends on whether your on sand or sandy loam or clay. Here nematodes are big concern on sand and sandy loam, clay not so much. Clean till cotton needs to have good thrips protection here and orthene on the seed has worked good in the past. I only grow cotton if its over 85 cent so its been a while, still some hope for this year though.
