Center,CO | I applied for Whip+ back in October. My local office is still processing my application. So in December I was supposedly all approved and everything was good. Since then I keep getting updated emails that supposedly we figured wrong and your payment is now a 30% less because we figured wrong. So when the money hits your bank please bring us a check back for the extra amount we sent you(which I have never received). Well today I get another email that another application for the same program for my dad's farm is now cut in half. Is my office just having some real issues or is the powers that be changing the software and formulas? Does any have a formula for how this is all figure?. Some of mine was prevent plant wheat and some was winterkilled alfalfa, But I am also wondering what your thoughts are on purchasing the government backed insurance for the 2 required years. What happens if they quit subsidizing the pale farmer? Will I owe more than I received? Thanks for any input.
