central michigan | Seeding rate isn’t really important at this point. You need to figure out how many tillers per square foot or square yard you have and base your plans on that. I use 1.25# of N per bushel and adjust the rates and timings of my apps based on how many tillers I have. If I want more tillers I put more on the first pass. If I’m happy with the number of tillers I put less on the first pass and save more for later. | |
