Thanks for the example coup , We have been arc corn and beans and plc wheat . The wheat has paid well , that being said , I will be all arc this go round . I do not think any of it pays unless we have localized disasters. With all the insurance products available, I think time is better spent assuring a profit via crop insurance which is guaranteed and not a hope and prayer like plc and arc.
My guess things will look a lot worse 18-24 months from now than most are currently thinking and there will be a pretty decent shot @ collecting PLC payment on corn and wheat for 21-22 crop year. |
