N-Serve, actually fits into the equation after CEC fits in.
CEC allows the NH3 to bind to the soil as NH4
N-Serve keeps the NH4 bound to the soil by killing the microbes that want to convert it into Nitrate.
Side dressing has issues also.
Nitrogen 8” from the row is more available than what is 15” from the row.
CEC can hold 10X their number in # of nitrogen.
I wonder, is this across the soil profile?
As in, the NH3 is concentrated in a narrow band.
How does this factor into the equation?
