when has ethics come in to play , all the time the govermenmt wants to screw us over for cheap food an we are supposed to sit back and work are ass of for nothing i .

So its ther gov't that sets cheap food prices?? I know livestock business has been a battle but when farmers fight too pay $10k an acre or $400 rents I don't think they do that because of gov't wanting cheap food.

A rural politician mentioned its hard to ask for more money for farms when they look at what farmers make compared to the rest of soceity and what they pay for land. Used to be farmers just tryed to survive another year , now a lot of Cadillacs and big homes are owned by farmers.....yes they all worked hard ,but a factory job 5-6 days a week yr. round is hard work too....

We get the gov't we vote for Comparing a farmer to a factory worker, would be like comparing a farm laborer to a factory owner.
