I have a cone mounted on my srpayer that i use for both corn and beans.  When i switch I run water with tank cleaner in the cone and let it set over night.  You can do this with a stationary cone too.  Also when using a cone try not to let it suck air with most chemicals and cause foam in the tank.  Using defoamer helps.
