NC Iowa | I talked to them also. From what I understand they bought emerge genetics, so they are controlling the seed through final product to sell. I would really like to see some yield data, the agronomist I talked to said they didn't fair to well in the dryer areas.
It bothers me to pay more money for there seed then full traited beans, they are making $20/acre just on seed sales. Also having them all priced by Jan 15 is a little different, though with the inverse this year its a good deal if you can't haul in till summer. They do pay storage past January so at least they have some incentive to get them in. |
