Subject: RE: Planting on Iowa CORS

I had low satt count at 6:20PM for about every day we have planted. On some fields, I would get to where I would start using markers around that time for a little while.

On some fields, I don't want markers at all because if you start using them for a few rounds, then you are off a bit when you re-engage. I didn't pursue RTK for almost perfect performance. so on square fields I go grease the planter during a low satt count situation. They usually don't last for more than 5 minutes.

I am running autopilot and let me assure you, it WILL alert you if steering disengages, scares the crap out of you.
