Bush Hogs and all rotary cutters are built to handle a published tree/brush stem diameter that's usually part of the advertising and listed in the op manual. Most all the lightest duty short line cutters will claim to cut 2" stuff. Heavy duty models will have 4inch ratings and extreme duty 6" or more.
