My experience in working with spinner speed was with a Raven proximity sensor and either a Raven or Ag Leader system. They were mounted so they were quite close to a steel bolt head on the bottom side of the spinner. It must not be a stainless steel bolt. With a Raven the wiring plugged right in. With the Ag Leader an adapter was needed. The wiring order must be correct.
