Subject: RE: Metal Primers, What kind?

Trivoli, Illinois
I have tried several kinds of primer and paint. The best paint and value for painting shop projects is Rust-Oleum The Red oxide primer works great, sticks to everthing just get the loose stuff off. Dries in a couple of hours at a shop temp of 55-60 degrees. Are shop projects I hardly spray anything, use 3/8 nap mini rollers and when it dries it looks like spray painted,no mess. Rust-Oleum Regal red is right on IH red, use lots of semi gloss black on trailers and projects. This is the rollers we use, the end of the roller are closed in, good for painting tight spots. https://www.menards.com/main/paint/brushes-rollers-trays/roller-cove...
