From personal experience you don't want to check/uncheck autoswath on the go as it will turn the clutches off/on for a split second and leave a gap in the field. We accidentally did that one time and there was a gap 4 ft long the width of the planter when the corn came up. Stopping to check/uncheck autoswath is the best solution to ensure this doesn't happen when planting.
