Subject: RE: greenstar insight question

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
repairman - 4/25/2009 14:35

Can some one tell me how and or if i can get a speed signal out of insight and into our greenstar planter monitor for speed.

The Insight needs GPS from another source (GPS receiver). It uses the GPS signal to compute ground speed for itself.

This ground speed information is not available as an input for your planter monitor.

The planter monitor needs to get its speed information from another device such as a radar gun or suitable GPS.

Certain GPS sources such as an EZ-Guide 500 could provide GPS out to the Insight and radar speed out to the planter monitor.
