Wife and I do not take it daily, other than a small amount that is in a multi-vitamin that we do take almost daily.

We just take it and the vitamin C if we start feeling the sniffles or a sore throat. Take if for a few days then as whatever we had goes away quit taking it.

I question taking some of this stuff in large quantities long term. Short term probably fine.
