So many of the mom and pop Mexican food vendors here put it on street tacos. Sometimes I’m ok with it but there are other times I specifically order without. In homemade salsa it has such a heavy taste that can detract.

I’ve heard a chef or two in the past suggest that Cilantro shouldn’t be chopped much at all because that brings out the soapy taste.
