Well, the neighbor I have been helping in out is ready to throw in the towel and send the whole system back. He just discovered today (after planting a couple hundred acres of corn) that when the GS1 sees that 6 rows are not planting, it goes ahead and shuts off the other 2 on that half of the planter (16 row 1770 CCS). So now he is EXTREMELY worried about having to go back and replant a whole bunch of acres where there will be skips.
Has anyone else heard of this issue? To rehash, tractor: 8110, planter: 16 row 1770 CCS, Insight running CCM ONLY, GS1 running everything else on the planter. Using Omnistar XP. | |
