i changed a late model 1760 to seedstar 2 from a computrak and it was pretty slick. Just plugged the wedge box harness into the frame harness and was good to go! I had to replace the wires that went from the yoke harness to each row for the individual row shutoff's. I picked mine up used from a guy that ripped it off to put on PP, so i got it for a lot better price then I'm sure a dealer would have asked.
