Texas Panhandle | Don't know about the value of the Deere but I can't see how you'd ever get that much in Trimble equipment. I would think you could use the steering valve already on it - maybe not. I just pulled a 2050 basic out of my sprayer and sold it and the rcm modules for around 6K if I remember right. You would still need a Nav II.
Are you pricing an RTK system from Trimble? Does the Deere equipment have no unlocks? I would think if you did it yourself and bought used you could do an even swap, just because of how high Deere equipment is.
I would agree on the line transfer issue. That is why I pulled mine out and put Pro 700 in.
