Shopify is easy for e-commerce and fairly cheap. You can use pre-made templates and access the code to modify as needed although it is their own Liquid code. I used squarespace for some others in the past that weren't e commerce. I did shopify for the recent store I setup ( https://cupholders.net ) because it was cheap, fast and easy. 5 months later I'm still happy with it overall but I don't do a lot with it.
