| I have a pair of Brandt 1547+, both have the movers, one has a 13hp honda on it for all the hyd functions and a 15hp motor to run the belt, the other is has the 35hp Kohler that can run everything but I also mounted a 20hp just for the belt, personally when loading out of bins (have 3 phase plug on each bin) is is just handier to push a button to start/stop than getting a gas motor started and them letting it cool down after filling each load, with the electric it is just a matter of pushing a button, doesn't matter if hot/cold it always works and it's not cold blooded.
IMHO the Brandt is worth more $$$ just an all around better built conveyor. | |
