Subject: RE: Market strategy for new Crop

NorthWest Mississippi
I am with ya brother.I sold some beans last August on a rally.Told self, buy calls just in case.Priced them,(options)got scared.Did not buy, cost too much ,$.23 a bushel for $10.00 Jan bean callsThat was $4.00/$150,000 ago.At least I am holding 20 K bushels now.Local elevator called today looking for unsold old crop corn.Paying $5.62.I promised my stored corn to a local feed mill. They will get it at a fair price. We did not discuss price when I stored it for them but they are always fair.I am not worried about old crop, just do not know what to do about new crop pricing.I do have some sell orders in at $12.00 at local elevator.Old crop is what they want now.Too many variables on new crop.I hate to sell things that I have not even planted yet.
