| Your pioneer dealer will be able to help you answer that question. Most of them aren't thrilled that they are being put in the position of trying to collect checks to qualify for rebates, but they will be more that willing to help you decide if its a beneficial program for you. If you solely use generics, it may not be a fit. If you use a few of the products on their approved list you may qualify, and it will give you an additional amount of rebate off of your seed purchase (like 1.5 percent if I remember correctly). A few products they have that you may purchase anyway would be enlist one if you are growing enlist beans, instinct nitrogen stabilizer (especially the new formulation if you have had mixing problems with others) perhaps Durango glyphosate or Resicore, and they have some good fungicides. The one that is not readily replaced by a generic would be the enlist herbicides as they would need to purchased for enlist beans to be on label if you plan to use a 24d formulation on them. This is my take on it. Your pioneer dealer can probably be more help with exact details. | |
