| So I was young enough in 1996 I was not concerned with the fat cattle price in relation to the rising grain prices. I can see the next 90-120 days being a blood bath in the live cattle market. My thought process is 3rd and 4th quarter live cattle prices could get really good. Especially if we pull weights down, and have lower placements. I guess I feel like high priced corn brings high priced cattle but maybe it won’t play out that way. I am curious what others who lived through 1996 would say. Thanks for your thoughts. | |
