Ams is my preferred sulfer source. Twice as much N as ats. I've never met any at least in my part of the world that puts in more than a gallon or two of ats. Not nearly enough sulfer for a corn crop.

Is he using bulk gypsum or Pell gypsum?

What is your soil ph?
