Subject: RE: Value of older beef cuts for dog food

East TN
I tried advertising a little for this arena to help me clean out my freezers too but after dealing with a few folks I have just donated the stuff to a local animal shelter. They have a big chest freezer and dump it all in there.

I got it down to $1 per lb before any 1 of the 8 people that would call, would show up. Then they either wanted only 2 packages or didn't like the looks or acted like they wanted all they could get their hands on but never showed back up. I would price it cheap in hopes that they come and continue to do so in the future.

There are forums and social media pages for just raw pet food if you want to try and push it further.

I wondered for a little while why the processors around here didn't market extra stuff for this. Now I think I know why.
Reminds me of what people say about trying to sell horse hay.
