Subject: RE: Planting Covercrop into Soybeans on last cultivation

North Central Illinois
I tried that this year (knee high beans). Only place I had oats surviving at Harvest was where I had cultivator blight. Too dark of canopy for too long. Once had some double crop beans planted late June with volunteer oats that came after last cultivation. Those survived and we're a nice 4-6" tall cover at Harvest.
