Subject: RE: Versatile 835

Shelby, MT
never owned one and don't but at the time they were built it was the 835 and the steiger bearcat 225 to choose from...and maybe a big bud ...ther rest didn't compare...one of the big debates between the steiger and vesatile was that the versatile was always lighter than steiger....so they were weighted down more....or they wore tires out faster....but the 835 was the cummins and could be turned up easy while that cat in the steiger wasn't so easy...the versatile also can be worked on about anywhere...because the component design....there is still discussion about the hinge area for wear....I don't know what to look for though....cab is good, you won't get a sunburn either. Don't know value either...Good tractor

I wonder what a 3 pt was used for?
