Back in the day engines that got that conversion usually got a higher flow oil pump and updated pickup tube. If I recall correctly the top vent update was driven by/associated with a change in piston rings. I worked in a CaseIH shop in the mid 1990's and they inframed quite a few 400 series engines. Seems like everything came to the shop by the piece but that doesn't mean there wasn't a kit to do the same thing.
