Here is a link to the FMD user manual, go to chapter 21 about data management where it goes over how to take data off the FMD. You will need a compact flash card reader to get the data into your PC.

You can get a free trial of SMS basic and import everything into there. I think that would likely be your best bet, but the learning curve is kind of steep with SMS. With the basic version you will have to export your boundaries/A-B lines one field at a time (batch export is an Advanced feature) which might be time consuming if you have a large operation.

Look on YouTube for SMS tutorials, and ask back here if you run into specific issues.
