Subject: Case IH gear oil for Magnums

Southern IL Randolph County
Wanting to change out the 85W-140 gear oil on the front axle and hubs on a new to us Magnum 310 and wondering what everyone uses or prefers. I have been using the CNH Tutela 85W-140 in the wheel hubs of our Patriot sprayer. Our general use oils are all FS-Growmark 15W-40 and Powerfluid for hydraulics and transmission oils. Our FS supplier gave me Citgo 85W-140 this fall for our combine final drives mainly because they did not have the FS brand on hand in that weight. I don't mind spending the extra $ for the name brand Case oil for this application, but just wondering what others are using brand wise for heavy axles and final drives.
