I’ve ran 5/40 in all of our dodge diesels for years and never a issue. Big engines always get 15/40 maxtron. Cenex owns their own refinery and offers a warranty if the item is new enough. They stand behind their products. I doubt any other oil company offers a warranty with their products that’s as extensive (fuel/engine/trans/gearbox/etc) as Cenex.
